We spent most of today outside in our tiny backyard, completely clearing it of the old grass and weeds and then laying fresh sod. Ruby liked playing around in the mud until she realized that, like her mom, she does not really enjoy being dirty. The yard did turn out beautifully, and Ruby and Cash can now play out there. Woohoo!
So I didn’t post a picture yesterday. This was partly due to the fact that I only saw Ruby for about 20 minutes yesterday. I spent pretty much the whole day in NYC for my friend Brandis’ bridal shower, which was so lovely. Ruby was in very good hands here in Little Silver, and even read to everyone.
Today we went shoe shopping and got Ruby some new pink sneakers and white sandals for summer. She would not stand still for a picture (surprise surprise) but you can kind of see them when she was playing around with Cash. They are very pink!
We are at Matty’s parents’ place in NJ this weekend. Mom and I went shopping this afternoon and left Ruby with Popsie, Daddy and Tio David. This is how they put her to sleep. It worked like a charm.
