We had a great last day of 2012 and first day of 2013 and hope you did too. On New Year’s Eve Adam, Ruby, and I went to the Pentagon to have lunch with Matty. Ruby especially had fun running around the courtyard, which is where my Dad officially proposed to my Mom, many moons ago. Mom was sitting on a bench when Dad gave her the ring, so Ruby wanted a picture on one of the many benches.
Later in the day Ruby’s Auntie Rebecca, Uncle Ronny, and cousins came to visit and we all walked around Old Town and enjoyed the Christmas decorations before heading home to ring in the New Year with champagne and pickled herring.
