I realized today how quickly Ruby is growing up as I had a flash-forward to her teenage years: hoodie, purse, and Starbucks beverage (chocolate milk with whipped cream for now).
Rallying for Audrey Grace
25 OctMy childhood friend Grey and his wife Monica recently had a sweet baby girl named Audrey Grace. She was born with a heart defect that required immediate surgery and has been fighting ever since. A few days ago Audrey Grace was having a particularly rough time so Monica asked Grey, an avid baseball fan, to put on his rally cap for her. Grey posted a picture to facebook and now all of their friends and family have been rallying too, including Joe.
Joe’s Four Month Check-Up
23 OctJoe will be four months old on Friday and had his check-up today. He is still a big boy but not off the charts anymore: 17 lbs (90th percentile) and 26 in long (87th percentile). His PCM says he is just perfect and very advanced developmentally. Joe handled his shots like a champ, only crying for about 30 seconds.
Play Day
23 OctYesterday Ruby and Joe had two fun play dates. In the morning my friends Sharon and Laura and Laura’s kids Owen and Emmy came over and we all went to the park. Future classmates (USNA 2035) Emmy and Joe watched the older kids play:
