One day over Christmas Ruby was having a bit of a rough time listening and obeying so I decided to take her outside for a little break. It was a beautiful, mild day and the one-on-one time seemed to help her attitude improve a bit. This little rocky beach is right across from my parents’ house.
White House
26 FebSo I am more than two months behind in my posting of silly pictures. These have been a very busy two months, and with Joe on the move I am finding it harder to get good shots. Rather than dwell on all that I am going to attempt to catch up. Most of these pictures will be unedited or this will never get done. Onward!
Back in December Elise, Rachel, Matt, Ruby, Joe, Noah, and I all went on a White House tour. It was decorated for Christmas and an acapella group was singing carols. All in all a lovely, memorable day.
NYC Day Two: Cultured Kids
4 DecThis morning we went to the Guggenheim, which was awesome–what an amazing space. I would like to think that Ruby enjoyed the art, but I really think she just enjoyed the space, as we all did.
After the museum we stopped by the Ancient Playground, which was so neat. Ruby especially loved being chased by Uncle Matt, and Joe enjoyed swinging.
It was a beautiful day and such fun to enjoy the weather at a park right on Museum Mile.
We walked through Central Park to get to a Christmas Market on Columbus Circle, where we all grabbed lunch.
Tonight we made a valiant attempt to witness the lighting of the Christmas (holiday?) tree at Rockefeller Center, but ran into HUGE crowds, so we came back to the apartment to watch it on TV and drink cider instead.
Noah was here today too but barely made it into any pictures, so here is a special one. Isn’t he adorable?
